United Country Properties South, Inc. Real Estate and Auctions, is  a Dothan, AL  based real estate auction/brokerage Company serving the needs of governmental agencies, financial institutions, estate administrators, attorneys and individuals in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Ed Hughes, Broker opened United Country Properties South, Inc. in 1994 in a small office with one associate.  Since that time the company has grown into one of the leading Real Estate firms in the Dothan and Southeastern Alabama area.  In 2006 a new 4,100 sq. ft. custom office building located at 325 Ross Clark Circle in Dothan became the home of United Country Properties South, Inc.

In 2008, in order to provide clients additional marketing tools in selling their properties, the decision was made to add an auction division to the company. In January of 2009 Stephen (Steve) and Margie Burton (formerly Burton Realty and Auction, Inc.) joined the United Country Properties South, Inc. team, with Steve heading up the auction division.  With over 25 years in the Real Estate auction industry, they bring their knowledge and experience to the United Country Properties South Auction Division team.

As a member of the United Country franchise network, we offer our clients not only national marketing venues, but international as well.  Through the United Country internet website (with over 115 million hits per month) properties can be exposed to infinite markets and buyers!
